Welcome to the 37th National Conference on Social Work and HIV/AIDS
(Agenda subject to change)

We are thrilled to welcome you to the 37th National Conference on Social Work and HIV/AIDS (NCSWH), taking place May 21–24, 2025. Since its founding in 1988, this annual convening has been a vital space for social workers, allied professionals, and individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS to come together, share knowledge, and drive meaningful change in their communities and organizations.

This year’s theme—“From Awareness to Action: Advancements in HIV/AIDS and Social Work”—calls on us to move beyond understanding and into implementation. Throughout the conference, engaging presentations, dynamic discussions, and interactive sessions with leading experts will spotlight the latest advancements in HIV/AIDS research, treatment, and prevention. More importantly, they will help translate that knowledge into actionable strategies for social work practice.

Our hope is that every attendee leaves this conference equipped with new insights, renewed purpose, and practical tools to make a meaningful difference. We also recognize that HIV/AIDS is not solely a public health issue—it is deeply connected to systemic injustices, including poverty, racism, homophobia, and stigma. Ending the epidemic requires bold, equity-driven efforts to dismantle the structures that perpetuate these disparities.

Together, let us move from awareness to action—and forge a more just and equitable future for all.

Please Note: All Pre-Conference sessions, Medical Case Management workshops, and the Ethics Luncheon are available only to those who pre-registered and paid for those sessions. All other breakout sessions are open to all attendees and do not require pre-registration.
